what's for supper?

Four Layer Chocolate Cake, Em's Birthday cake

Yesterday, I spent a few hours at the office, in the board room. I hate not having an office where everything is all in one spot, but at least I can connect to the secure server. I once had this little VPN bobble (virtual private network, I think) that held a code, but since I have moved I can't find it. That would allow me to check my email from home, or log onto the business centre, but without it, I have no choice but to the use the board room.

Today I have to set someone up with Health Insurance, and mail off a package on Estate and Financial Planning Services, then I have to do some grocery shopping. I'm hoping to find some decent meat prices! My freezer is down to two packages of chicken, and we're quite sick of ground beef and pork.

What are you going to make for supper? I need some ideas.

  1. Supper? I dunno but I grilled last night.

That 4-layer cake...I can picture myself being the 5th layer.

  2. I think I want Chocolate Cake after seeing that LOL.

What about a big beautiful baked ham - I am always shocked with how much you get for so little dollars and of course you can take the bone and make fabulous pea soup -- freeze some for future nummies.

Do you ever watch the girls that make fat foods calorie wise? I saw one episode where they made mock chicken wings using boneless thighs -- I start mine on the grill and finish by basting with BBQ sauce - very nummie.

  4. burst - this cake brings on a chocolate orgasm!

Joanne - no, I haven't! But now I'm googling that. It sounds like the perfect summer dinner. Em will eat salad if it's served with wings.

  10. I had McD for lunch, so supper was a bologna and cheese sandwich. Maybe I'll have the last of the ground beef tomorrow.

  14. We had spinach salad with chicken strips and strawberries. No berries left for my lunch though. They went through two boxes while we were at the movies, those buggers.

  15. Kate just in case you wanted to check out the recipe I didn't give you much information so the name of the show is Eat Shrink and be Merry. Here is the link to that recipe but if you check through Food Network there is tons of great ideas -- you always seem to inspire and be inspired so have fun.
