Here's a close-up of my bedside table. The first thing you see is my ginger citrus body butter, which I use every day after my shower. Behind it are some books (one about Vietnam, another from Martha Stewart on decorating, and my current read, lullabies for little criminals, by Heather O'Neill) my reading glasses are perched on top in a black case. Beside the books is the hand puppet I got from the kids in my Christmas stocking, my lamp, and a little black leather case that holds my jewelry and a few pens. Not showing - remotes for the satellite receiver and the cheap little DVD player.
What's on your nightstand? I tag greeneyes67, barnesm, and a new reader, Rebecca Anne. Have a nice afternoon.

That's a wonderful book Kate, hope you enjoy it too.
ReplyDeleteSomething I don't have a night stand as I have a very old 18th century hand made chest of drawers right next to my bed from my Grandad and that takes up half the room
ReplyDeleteLou - I'm really enjoying it so far.
ReplyDeletemr-stu - that sounds lovely! I'd love to see it.
Oh boy.
ReplyDeletethat adds a new meaning to "Butter up"...
Lord you girls are something else....
Love,
Bobby
gee, body butter. i'm just guessin` (as my imagination runs wild at the thought) that it's gotta get sticky at times.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry Kate but the first thing I saw was the Gonzo looking creature in the back. lol. Is it Gonzo? And I cannot believe Ramsey is thinking dirty things about body butter. lol.
ReplyDeleteThere's a lot of tags going around, I think the bedside table one is the best.
ReplyDeleteHeh, I don't have a bedside table. Closest thing is my desk, which really doesn't count, does it?
ReplyDeleteKate, how's the butter taste on toast?
ReplyDeleteJust askin'? :)
lullabies for little criminals? What - is that all about?
ReplyDeleteMine has a lamp, of course, pens, writing paper, a big plastic thing of nuts and various things in it that was given to me for Christmas - still working on that and yes, it is still good - and other odds and ends.
Next to my mattress by my head I put my cell phone. Pixie lives next to my mattress by my feet. Sometimes I put a handkerchief and a book there. That's all.
ReplyDeletei can't believe it's butter. :)
ReplyDeleteMmmm that body butter sounds like it smells amazing!
ReplyDeleteI use an orange ginger body wash and it really makes me feel awake in the morning.
Your nightstand is a little tidier than mine!
ReplyDeleteKate, TP would like you to have access to her journal. Email lemonsurveys@yahoo.com so she can invite you in :)
ReplyDeleteIt's not so much of interest what's ON the nightstand but what's in the drawer of the nightstand. ;)
ReplyDeleteVery cool photo and I'm with wildstorm, the more interesting things are INSIDE my nightstand :)
ReplyDeleteMaybe that should be the next project heehee
