I have really enjoyed finding new, interesting blogs to read here at blogspot, and thought I would pimp them occasionally.
This lovely girl recently did an entry about the snuggie, and when I saw it I almost spit coffee all over my moniter!
Please go visit and say hello.
I remember seeing that thing advertised when I was home. :)
ReplyDeleteI saw that in someone's blog before, too. I have so little time keeping up with my former JS'ers, that there's none left to try new ones :-(
ReplyDeleteAw, that is too bad, Dorrie. This is funny!
ReplyDeletethat was hilarious!!! I loved it. I read through some of her other stuff too... liked her so much I added her to my list.
ReplyDeleteExcellent find!! Thanks for sharing...I NEED a new evening dress. Perfect.
ReplyDeleteI did an entry on the Snuggie on Jan 29. It's still ridiculous today
ReplyDeleteOmg! Every time the commerical comes on for the "SNUGGIE" I make such a big deal about it! My two lil boys really think that I want one and are saving all their pennies up to buy me one! Oh my! What will I do if they ever save up enough to actually buy me one? lol I guess I'll have to proudly use it huh?
ReplyDeleteI'm new here (waving hello), but I went and saw that entry and it was fantastic! Thank you for the pimp. I have a whole new appreciation for snuggies~

That was an awesome post - I can't believe how much effort she went to
ReplyDeleteI was just going to say that I’d read Tamale’s rather more blunt post about it, but I see she got in a mention already. Well worth reading if you like your humour dry.
ReplyDeleteDone
ReplyDeleteThat is too, too funny! Thanks for the link.

ReplyDeleteI've seen the advertisements and I can't help but wonder when I am going to see someone going out to get the newspaper sporting one!
ReplyDeletePeople wear Crocs out in public. It's only a matter of time until they wear this as well. Blech. Humans.
ReplyDeleteIt's a good job we don't get this over this side of the pond!
ReplyDeleteOh My Gown! A friend just gave me one of these and since I never watch TV and it didn't come with instructions (Duh)...I now find out I was wearing it backwards! That explains my question about why one would have a pocket on the middle of your backside!
ReplyDeleteI have yet to wash it so needless to say, have tiny red hairballs on everything I had on when I donned the Snuggie. The sleeves hang down to my knees and while wearing it I sort of feel like one of those garbage creatures from Star Wars...
not altogether a bad feeling and at least I am warm while blogging away now!
Teri and the cats of Furrydanced
Barnesm - I see you took me literally, lol!
ReplyDeleteForest - she's great, isn't she?
Cinfulgirl - too funny! I would wear one while reading, especially if the kids got it.
Tamale - I thought of you when I saw it!
Linda - in -40 anything looks fashionable, lol
Noc - nooooo, not the same as crocs! Crocs make us suffer because people wear them out in public. No one will wear this, thank god.
Teri - oh, too bad it leaves behind little furballs!
i thought watching those late tv ads is a total waste of time. this is an exception. i'm just wondering if it was designed a member of a cult or something.
