something to prove?

Bill has a supervisor named Nick, who is married to Donna.

It's not enough that they recently upgraded to a bigger house, but now Donna thinks that they should get a Hummer. The oilpatch has laid off 40% of their workers and this company has no idea when they're going to be busy again, but she still wants a Hummer.

I may have to apologize for saying this, but when you drive a Hummer, you're basically telling the world that:

a) you're a male who stands 5'6" or less

b) you're a male with a small penis

or

c) you're a female with something to prove.

I think the whole competing with your neighbours, family and friends thing should be put on hold for awhile.

  1. What if your a female married to a short male with a small penis? Would that equal Hummer?

  2. *giggling at 'a' and 'b'!!

  3. A Hummer is so useless - why does anyone need it unless they have severe self-esteem issues?

  4. Donna does sound like a deadshit. I could understand a Hummer if one lived in Iraq, or if one were a professional drug dealer. Otherwise, it does seem to equal a, b or c

  5. I couldn’t agree more. To me, anyone getting a Hummer is making a statement: “I want to try to impress people, but am too unimaginative to realise it makes me look like a pillock.”

  6. I can't see owning a Hummer. I do have a toyota FJ that is wonderful in the mountains and on the sand however. I do use it as a work truck on my rental properties....

    A Hummer? Not for me.

  7. A Hummer is a tank, literally. Unless you are in danger of being shot it's a waste of gas and space (especially in that hideous lime green). That being said, I do have an SUV; there's a lot of snow here!

  8. c is my sister.

Bobby...it came down to an FJ or a Mini Cooper for me. I chose the Mini because the Toyota dealer wasn't very helpful.

  14. GM announced that they will be shutting down the entire Hummer division this year. They said sales had dropped so much that there was no way to justify continued production. They couldn't even sell it to another manufacturer. I guess enough people finally realized they aren't really sporty or utilitarian at all.
